Element Forge
A discovery puzzle with a fixed, finite recipe book: 64 elements and 60 recipes. Combine two elements you have found; if the pair is a recipe, you discover something new and keep both ingredients.

Combine pairs of elements to discover all 64 in a small, finite world.

Guided start (0 of 6): try Water + Fire.
Recipe ancestry
Hints used: 0. The world is finite — every recipe is in the supplied pack and none is invented.
Controls
- Tap an element to put it in the next empty ingredient slot, or drag it onto a slot.
- Combine tries the pair; Swap and Clear slots rearrange or empty them.
- Search filters your collection; the goal-trail menu picks a target and lists what is still needed.
The rules
- A recipe is an unordered pair: Water + Fire is the same as Fire + Water.
- Both ingredients stay available after any combination, and a discovery is permanent until you clear the game.
- A pair that is not in the recipe book says “No discovery yet”. A pair you have already made awards nothing new.
Scoring, saving and limits
Progress is discoveries out of 64, with the number of combinations tried. Every element can be reached from the four starters — the recipe book is checked for that.
Your discoveries, chosen trail and counters are kept on this device only. A backup can be downloaded and imported; an import naming an element this game does not have is refused.
Hints show one pair that makes an undiscovered element from what you already have; they are counted but do not lock anything. The world is deliberately small and does not grow.
Questions
- Can I get stuck?
- No. Every element is reachable from Air, Water, Earth and Fire, and a hint is available whenever anything is left to discover.
- Are recipes made up as I play?
- No. Every result comes from a fixed recipe book shipped with the page. Nothing is generated on the fly and nothing is sent anywhere.
- What does the ancestry panel show?
- The chain of recipes that leads from the starting elements to the element you choose, in an order you could actually make them.
