Mirror Relay
Beams leave each emitter in a straight line. Every mirror you place turns a beam through a right angle. Route each beam into the receiver with the same letter, entering from the side its arrow shows.

Place your mirrors so each emitter's beam reaches its matching receiver.

Beam paths
- Beam A: from (6, 1) heading west, stops at a wall at (0, 1).
Solved on this device: 0 of 12. Several layouts can work — any that lights every receiver wins.
Controls
- Choose / or above the board, then tap an empty cell (or press Space or Enter) to place that mirror.
- Tap a mirror or press R to rotate it; Backspace removes it. Typing / or on a cell places that mirror directly.
- Arrow keys move around the board. The Beam paths panel lists each beam's mirrors and where it ends.
The rules
- A / mirror turns a beam heading east to north, north to east, west to south and south to west; a mirror does the opposite turns.
- Walls, emitters and the board edge stop a beam. A receiver lights only when the beam arrives travelling the way its arrow points.
- Beams never split. Each puzzle gives a fixed number of mirrors; any layout that lights every receiver without hitting the absorber wins.
Scoring, saving and limits
Solved when every receiver is lit and no beam reaches the absorber. More than one layout can work, so no single answer is required.
Your mirrors, undo history and solved boards are kept on this device only. Download a backup to move them.
Twelve 8×8 boards, each built from a saved winning layout that is replayed by the test suite. No colour filters or beam splitters.
Questions
- What does the arrow on a receiver mean?
- The direction the beam must be travelling when it arrives — a receiver marked ▲ needs a beam heading north into it.
- Can a beam cross another beam?
- Yes. Beams pass through each other; only mirrors, walls and the special cells affect them.
- Is there only one solution?
- Not always. Equivalent placements can exist, and any layout that satisfies every receiver counts.
