Star Regions
A placement puzzle on a board split into outlined regions. Every row, every column and every region gets exactly one star, and no two stars may touch — not even diagonally.

- Stars may not touch each other horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
Scoring, saving and limits
Solved means every quota is met and no stars touch. A hint that reveals a star marks the run as assisted.
Your marks, undo history and solved boards are kept on this device only. Download a backup to move them.
Twelve boards (six 6×6, six 8×8), each built from a valid star layout with connected regions and checked by a solver to have exactly one answer. The two-star 10×10 variant is not included.
Questions
- What does excluded do?
- Nothing to the rules — it marks cells you have ruled out, which makes the remaining choices easier to see.
- Where should I start?
- Small regions. A region of two or three cells forces its star into one of very few places, which then excludes a whole row and column.
- Is there only one answer?
- Yes. Every board is checked by a solver that tries every arrangement.
