It ages in real time on your device: feed it, give it water, keep it clean, play, explore and let it rest, and it grows through six evolutions over its first twenty days — then lives a long, healthy life. Everything is saved locally on this device. There is no account and no data collection.
How it works
- Choose one of three mysterious eggs and give it a nickname.
- It hatches after about five minutes, then evolves at days 3, 6, 10, 15 and 20.
- Care for its needs — food, water, energy, cleanliness and joy — and its health stays high.
- Fill the reserve bowls or turn on Hibernation before a trip so it stays safe while you are away.
Made for real life
- Real-time growth without an account. Your Zerdling keeps living whether the page is open or not — come back after school or a holiday and see what it became.
- Kind by design. No panic alarms, no daily-login streaks and no punishment for a normal school day, weekend or holiday.
- Absence protection. Reserve bowls cover a few days to two weeks, and free Hibernation mode pauses everything for longer trips.
- Yours forever, with backups. A healthy Zerdling has no forced end date. Export a backup file any time to keep it safe or move it to another device — the file never leaves your computer.
Privacy for families
Zerdlings is built to collect nothing. It does not ask for a name, email, age, location, photos or contacts, and it has no chat, no friend list and no leaderboards. All game data — your creature, its history and its habitat — is stored only in this browser using local device storage. Because browsers can clear that storage, the safest way to protect a long-lived Zerdling is to export a backup file from the in-game Menu. Deleting your Zerdling removes only its data and nothing else on Zerdly.
