Setting an age keeps the questions at the right level for that age. It does not lock anything — you can still try any topic, at any age, in any order. Levels are a guide only, not a curriculum.
Your age is not saved anywhere. Your country is remembered only if you have switched saving on.
Saving your progress
Nothing is being saved. You can practise as much as you like — when you close the tab, the session is gone.
Getting the most from it
- Number bonds come first. Knowing pairs that make ten makes everything after it easier — that is what “Facts to 10” is for.
- Carrying is a place-value idea. When the ones column makes more than ten, a ten moves across. Use “Show me why” and it will lay that out.
- Wrong answers are useful. If a mistake is one we recognise, you will get an explanation aimed at it rather than a plain “try again”.
