For parents and teachers

What practice has happened in this browser, on this device. Nothing here has been sent to Zerdly, and there is no account to sign in to — if you open Zerdly Maths on another device, that device has its own separate record.

This is a summary of practice, not an assessment. It cannot tell you what a child knows — only what they have done here.

No account, and the maths stays in your browser — more

This activity is for learning and practice. Anything it suggests is indicative only — it is not a formal assessment and not a substitute for a teacher or tutor.

Nothing you answer is sent to Zerdly. Progress is saved on this device only if you switch saving on, and you can delete it at any time. How Kids Maths handles data.

How to read this summary

  • “Going well” is the top rung. It means enough questions, at a high enough level, answered correctly often enough. There is no “mastered” — a few dozen questions in a browser cannot show that, so we do not claim it.
  • Levels are ours, not school’s. “7 of 10” is a Zerdly Maths difficulty band. It does not map to a year group, and we never claim alignment to any curriculum.
  • Nothing is locked. The suggested next step is a suggestion. Any skill can be tried at any time, in any order.
  • Gaps are not necessarily gaps. A skill showing nothing may simply have been practised on paper, at school, or on another device.

What is stored, and getting rid of it

Saving is off until someone switches it on. While it is off, Zerdly Maths keeps nothing between sessions at all. When it is on, this device holds session summaries and per-skill totals — not a record of every question. You can export a copy or delete everything from the controls above, and deleting really does remove it. How Kids Maths handles data.
