Zerdly Web Design · Remote across Australia
Work with a WA-based website designer from anywhere in Australia
Based in the Peel region, Western Australia, Zerdly creates modern websites for small businesses across Australia. Projects are managed remotely.
Interstate projects follow the same written scope and review process. We agree practical communication times, share a website preview and collect feedback in consolidated rounds.

Your remote project checklist
A remote project goes smoothly when these are sorted early. None of it needs to be perfect before you start the brief; it just needs an owner.
Illustrative example
Before you start
The decisions that shape the scope.
Ask the customer for
- Your business goals for the website
- Who owns the current domain, and the login details
- Existing booking or payment links you want to keep
Content to gather
What the pages are built from.
Ask the customer for
- Your approved logo files
- Photos you own or are licensed to use
- Service descriptions in your own words
People and timing
What keeps a remote project moving.
Ask the customer for
- One contact who approves content and feedback
- When you can review each preview
- Any dates the website must be live by
Time zones, agreed for your project
Western Australia does not observe daylight saving, and several other states do, so the time difference changes during the year and depends on where you are. Rather than assume a fixed offset, we agree review windows and dated milestones for the actual project dates. Most of the work is written and asynchronous, so a difference of a few hours rarely matters.
How the remote process works
The same four steps as every Zerdly project. Each decision is in writing, which is especially useful when you are in another state.
01
Send your brief
Complete the website brief online, download it as a PDF and email it. A short email question is fine too.
02
Agree the written scope
We confirm pages, inclusions, price and a start date in writing. A 50% deposit books the build.
03
Review a live preview
You get a private preview link and send each round of changes together, in writing. Two revision rounds are included.
04
Approve and launch
Once you approve the preview, the balance is paid and the website goes live on your domain.
Pages by state
There are no city-specific pages for other states yet, and you do not need one to work with us. For Western Australian locations, see the Western Australia overview.
Relevant work from our portfolio
Real websites from our portfolio, including a Queensland business, described only by what each live site shows.

Grand Hotel Monto
A Queensland country pub's own website: the menu, table and room bookings, local news and a merch shop.
What it shows: A Queensland business's website in our portfolio: menu, bookings, news and a shop on its own domain.

Grounded Counselling Co
Online counselling for women across Western Australia, with services, pricing and session bookings.

Questions about working remotely
Do I need to meet the designer in person?
No. Projects run remotely, wherever you are in Australia: you complete the brief online, we agree the scope in writing, and you review the website on a private preview link.
How are preview reviews and feedback handled?
You receive a preview link, review it in your own time and send all your changes for that round together, in writing. Two revision rounds are included; further changes can be quoted.
Who controls the domain after launch?
You do. On final payment, the website is set up on hosting in your name and connected to your domain, and you receive the source files. Domain and hosting fees are paid to those providers and are separate from the build fee.
What if my city is not listed?
You do not need a city page to work with us. The process, packages and prices are the same for every Australian client, so start the brief or email a question.
The full terms are in our Web Design Service Terms.
Ready to plan your website?
The brief saves in your browser as you go, so you can finish it later. Builds start from January 2027. Start dates are confirmed after we review your brief.
