Business Letterhead and Letter Builder

Enter your business name and contact details once, write your letter, and the builder sets it on letterhead. The recipient's address sits in a fixed block 20 mm from the left and 45 mm from the top, which suits many DL window envelopes for an A4 letter folded in three. Check yours before a large print run.

Long letters continue on further pages with a short header naming you, the recipient and the date. Create the PDF, check it, then download it and a Word file. It is made in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by Zerdly.

How to use the Business Letterhead and Letter Builder

  1. Pick a layout: compact, spacious with a centred letterhead, or editorial with an accent bar.
  2. Enter your business name and sender details. Add your logo only if you have the right to use it.
  3. Enter the recipient's address one line at a time, the date and any references.
  4. Write the letter, including the greeting, in your own words.
  5. Choose Create document, check the letter under View your document, then download the PDF and Word file.

Example

A joinery business confirming a site visit and the next steps to a strata manager.

What it does not do

  • It writes no letter text for you, and has no letter-of-demand, debt-collection or legal-notice templates.
  • An address too long for the envelope window is refused rather than cut off; put it on fewer lines.
  • Window envelopes vary. Print a test page and hold it behind your envelope before printing many.
  • The Word file carries the text and headings but not the logo.
  • Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
