Business Proposal Builder

Set out what the client wants, how you will do it, what is and is not in scope, when it happens and what it costs. Scope items are numbered S1, S2 and so on in the order you enter them, and optional prices count only when you select them, so the package total never moves because of an option the client has not chosen.

Add case studies from past work with an optional photo. Create the PDF, check every page, then download it or an editable Word copy. It is made in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by Zerdly.

How to use the Business Proposal Builder

  1. Pick a layout: compact, spacious with a cover page, or editorial with numbered sections.
  2. Enter your business, the client, a title and date, then the executive summary and approach in your own words.
  3. List the deliverables, switching In scope off for anything you want to show as out of scope.
  4. Add timeline milestones and prices; mark a price Optional, and Selected if the client has chosen it.
  5. Add assumptions and case studies, then Create document, check it under View your document, and download.

Example

A website refresh proposal for Sample Community Garden: three deliverables (one out of scope), three milestones, a 4,800.00 core package plus a selected 450.00 option for a 5,250.00 total, and a 900.00 option shown as not selected.

What it does not do

  • It does not add terms and conditions, indemnity or liability clauses, an acceptance block or signature lines.
  • Prices are shown as entered; no tax is calculated.
  • A logo can be added only after confirming you have the right to use it. The Word file has the same text and tables but not the photos.
  • Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.

Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
