Timesheet Builder

Enter each shift with its date, start and end time and any unpaid break. An end time at or before the start time is an overnight shift that ends the next day, so 22:00 to 06:00 with a 30-minute break is 7.5 hours.

Shifts that overlap are marked on the timesheet and listed before you create it. Create the PDF, check it, then download it and a CSV of the hours. It is made in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by Zerdly.

How to use the Timesheet Builder

  1. Pick a layout: compact table, detailed breakdown, or a summary with every shift in an appendix.
  2. Enter your name and the first day of the period. Weeks are counted from that day.
  3. Add a line per shift. Leave the end date blank; it is worked out from the times.
  4. Optionally list project codes and pick one per shift to see hours by project.
  5. Choose Create document, check the timesheet under View your document, then download the PDF and CSV.

Example

Two weeks of cleaning shifts across two sites, including a 22:00 to 06:00 night shift, totalled by week and by site.

What it does not do

  • It records hours only. It does not calculate pay, award rates, penalty rates, overtime or leave entitlements.
  • A shift can be at most 24 hours long; longer spans need two lines.
  • Times are wall-clock times; daylight-saving changes inside a shift are not adjusted.
  • A logo can be added only after confirming you have the right to use it.
  • Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
