How to use this calculator

- Enter your swim pace (per 100 m), run pace (per km) and transitions.
- Read your total time and splits, or solve a required pace with Target Finish.
How it works
An aquathlon combines swim and run legs. Swim time = (distance ÷ 100) × pace per 100 m; run time = distance × pace per km; transitions are added. The total is the sum of the legs.
Worked example
Sprint aquathlon. 500 m swim @ 2:00/100 m (10:00) + 2.5 km run @ 5:00/km (12:30) + transition.

Frequently asked questions
What are typical aquathlon distances?
Often a 0.5–1 km swim with a 2.5 km run (sprint), or a run–swim–run format at standard distance. Events vary, so all distances are editable.
How accurate are these times?
They're estimates. Real race times depend on terrain, weather, elevation, fatigue, transitions, nutrition, equipment, drafting and water conditions. Use them for planning and pacing, not as a guarantee.
Do my inputs get uploaded?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser — nothing is sent to a server or stored.
What is Target Finish mode?
Enter a goal finish time and the paces/speeds for the other legs, then pick the leg to ‘solve for’. The calculator works out the pace or speed you'd need on that leg to hit your goal.
