Calculator
A free, browser-based calculator. Runs entirely in your browser — no sign up, nothing stored.
Type directly or tap the pad. Press Enter or = to evaluate. History stays on this device — nothing is sent anywhere.
How to use this calculator
- Tap the number and operator buttons, or just type in the box.
- Use brackets to group, then press = (or Enter) for the answer.
- C clears, ⌫ deletes the last entry, and Ans reuses your last result.
How it works
It evaluates the whole expression with correct order of operations (brackets, then × and ÷, then + and −), so 2 + 3 × 4 = 14, not 20.
Everything is worked out in your browser — no sign-up and nothing sent to a server.
Worked example
2 + 3 × 4. = 14 (multiplication before addition).
Common mistakes
- Forgetting brackets — type (2 + 3) × 4 when you want the addition done first.
- Expecting left-to-right order — the calculator follows standard maths precedence.
Frequently asked questions
Does it follow order of operations?
Yes — it uses BODMAS/PEMDAS: brackets first, then powers, then × and ÷, then + and −.
Can I use my keyboard?
Yes — type the numbers and operators directly and press Enter to evaluate.
