How to use this calculator
- Enter your expression with the pad or keyboard.
- Pick Radians or Degrees for trig, then press = (or Enter).
- Use Ans to reuse the previous answer in a new calculation.
How it works
Functions like sin, cos, tan, ln, log, √ and powers (^) combine with normal arithmetic and brackets, all evaluated with correct precedence.
The degree/radian switch changes how trig functions read angles — sin(30°) = 0.5 in degree mode.
Worked example
2 × sin(30°) + 1 in degree mode. = 2 × 0.5 + 1 = 2.
Common mistakes
- Leaving the mode on radians when entering degrees (or vice-versa) — check the Rad/Deg switch.
- Missing a closing bracket after a function, e.g. sin(30 instead of sin(30).
Frequently asked questions
Does it do radians and degrees?
Yes — switch between Rad and Deg. Trig functions honour the mode; inverse functions (asin, etc.) return angles in the same mode.
What functions are supported?
sin, cos, tan and their inverses and hyperbolics, ln, log, log2, √, cbrt, exp, abs, factorial (!), powers (^), plus the constants π and e.
