Overall diameter
Calculated reference sizes (original Zerdly data, generated from common width/aspect/rim combinations) — availability varies by market.
96 sizes around 30″ overall
1152 reference sizes in the library.
How to use this calculator
- Pick an overall-diameter band (e.g. 33″) to list sizes near that height.
- Optionally filter by rim size, and search for a specific width or aspect.
- Each card shows the metric size, inch equivalent, diameter, width and revs per km.
How it works
Sizes are generated from common width / aspect / rim combinations, computed with the shared tyre geometry, then grouped into whole-inch overall-diameter bands.
Use it to find different sizes that stand about the same height — handy for comparing across rims. These are calculated references, not an availability list.
Worked example
33″ band. Groups sizes whose overall diameter rounds to about 33 inches across several rims — e.g. a 285/75R16 sits near a metric equivalent on a 17″ rim.
Frequently asked questions
What sizes are 33 inches tall?
The 33″ band lists the calculated sizes whose overall diameter rounds to 33 in across the rims in the library. Filter by rim to narrow it down.
Why group by diameter?
Overall diameter drives ground clearance, gearing and speedo accuracy, so grouping by height makes it easy to find equivalents across different rims.
Are these results safe to fit?
They're geometry estimates only. Real tyres vary by brand, load, pressure and wear. Always check the vehicle placard, manufacturer data, local road rules and guard/brake/suspension clearance, and get professional fitment advice before changing tyre or wheel sizes.
