How much topsoil do I need?
Multiply the bed area by the depth you want. A 20 m² bed at 100 mm deep needs 2 m³ of topsoil.
How deep should topsoil be?
Around 100–150 mm suits lawns and garden beds; about 300 mm for vegetable beds and where you want strong root growth.
