Web design for Rockingham small businesses

A service website that helps customers send a complete quote request the first time.

Looking for a clearer website for your Rockingham business? For a trade or maintenance business, a vague first message ('how much to fix my fence?') usually leads to three more emails before you can price the job. A website can fix that before the conversation starts.

Based in the Peel region, Western Australia, Zerdly creates modern websites for small businesses across Australia. Projects are managed remotely.

Your scope and next steps are agreed in writing before design begins. There is no walk-in studio, and no meeting is needed.

Illustrative example

A maintenance provider needs a clear list of suitable jobs and an email quote checklist.

This is an illustrative website need, not a completed client project. It is used throughout this page to make the advice concrete.

The complete quote request

Put five short prompts beside your contact details. Customers who follow them send a request you can actually assess, and customers whose job does not suit you can tell before they write.

Illustrative example

Example quote request email (illustrative)
Work type
“Replace two damaged fence panels”Tells you straight away whether it is a job you take on.
Location
“Suburb only, such as Warnbro”Confirms it is inside your service area without asking for a street address up front.
Photos
“Two photos of the damage, attached”Often enough for a first estimate, saving a site visit.
Preferred timing
“Within the next month”Lets you say early whether you can fit it in.
Constraints
“Side access only, dog in the yard”Flags anything that changes the price or the approach.

A static website shows these prompts; it does not check or submit them. Customers email you as normal, and you can still say that a final quote may need a visit or further discussion.

Rockingham and its suburbs

The City of Rockingham, in Perth's outer southern suburbs, includes Baldivis, Secret Harbour, Port Kennedy, Warnbro, Safety Bay, Golden Bay and Singleton as well as Rockingham itself. If you cover several of these suburbs, one coverage statement on your contact page is clearer than a separate page for each.

Zerdly is based in the neighbouring Peel region and works with Rockingham businesses remotely. There is no local office.

How the remote process works

Everything runs in writing, so each decision is on record. Working times and milestones are agreed for each project.

Complete the website brief online, download it as a PDF and email it. A short email question is fine too.

  2. 02

    Agree the written scope

We confirm pages, inclusions, price and a start date in writing. A 50% deposit books the build.

  3. 03

    Review a live preview

You get a private preview link and send each round of changes together, in writing. Two revision rounds are included.

  4. 04

    Approve and launch

Once you approve the preview, the balance is paid and the website goes live on your domain.

Questions from Rockingham businesses

What should customers send when requesting a quote?

Enough information to assess the job: usually the work type, suburb, a couple of photos, preferred timing and any constraints. Explain on the page that a final quote may need further discussion.

Can customers upload photos through the website?

The standard website does not include an upload system. Customers attach photos to an email, which works for most quote requests. A custom upload or form back end would be a separate, quoted project.

What do I need to supply?

A list of the jobs you do, any you do not, your service area and some photos of your own work. If you already have a set of questions you ask by phone, include them; they become the quote prompts.

The full terms are in our Web Design Service Terms.
