Equipment Maintenance Record Builder
List your equipment with model, serial number, purchase date and where its manual is, then add the maintenance tasks you have set yourself, every service that has been done and what is due next. The builder sets it out as a register, a card per item, or a full history with costs.
It is a record of what you enter, not maintenance instructions, and it never says equipment is safe, compliant or inspected. It is made in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by Zerdly.

How to use the Equipment Maintenance Record Builder
- Pick a layout: concise summary, equipment cards with photos, or detailed record.
- Add each item of equipment. Serial numbers print exactly as typed, leading zeros included.
- Add your tasks and intervals in your own words, service history entries with the cost, and next services with a date or a meter reading.
- Add manual references, and if you like upload photos and attach them to an item with an equipment photo row. Add a logo only if your business owns it.
- Choose Create document, check the record under View your document, then download the PDF.
Example
A workshop register: an air compressor (serial 000482-B) with a weekly drain and an annual service, a pedestal drill with a monthly belt check, two service entries totalling 427.50 AUD and the next service due at 1,500 hours.
What it does not do
- It does not write maintenance procedures, steps or intervals. Follow the manufacturer's manual and use qualified people for hazardous work.
- There is no certificate, inspection approval, sign-off or stamp, and the record does not state that equipment is safe or compliant.
- Costs are totalled per item and overall in one currency. Nothing is converted.
- Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
