Handwriting Practice Builder
Type a name, a few words or a sentence, choose a handwriting model and a year level, and the builder prints a solid model of the text, tracing copies and empty guide rows to write on.
The guide lines are measured from the model itself: the dashed waist line sits at the height of the lowercase letters, the head line at the top of the tall letters and the descender line under g, j, p, q and y. The VIC, WA and NT model traces with its own dotted letters and can show stroke-direction arrows; the other models trace with dashed outlines.

How to use the Handwriting Practice Builder
- Choose a layout: low-ink practice, spacious learning, or a pack with a separate model sheet.
- Type the practice text. Long text wraps into several practice lines.
- Choose the handwriting model, the year level of the lines, the letter size and the number of tracing copies.
- Turn writing rows on or off, and set how many follow each line.
- Choose Create document, check the pages, then download the PDF.
Example
A low-ink sheet for the name Sophie Nguyen in the VIC, WA and NT model at 40 pt: a solid model, three dotted copies to trace and two empty four-line rows, all on one A4 page.
What it does not do
- The Australian school models draw plain A to Z, digits and basic punctuation only. For accented letters choose International print (Andika).
- It prints print-style letters only, not joined (cursive) writing.
- The letters are drawn as shapes, so the PDF text cannot be searched or copied.
- Practice text is up to 160 characters.
- Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
