Recognition Certificate Builder

Choose one of four recognition categories and one of five activity types, type the recipient's name, and the builder lays out a certificate with an original border. Add more names, or import them from a CSV file, and every name gets its own page in one PDF.

Every certificate carries the same title and the line "Recognition only. Not a qualification, licence, accreditation or official record." They cannot be changed, and there is no place for an organisation name, logo, seal or signature. Everything happens in your browser.

How to use the Recognition Certificate Builder

  1. Choose a design: Restrained (landscape, double rule), Editorial (portrait, side band) or Display (landscape, scalloped frame).
  2. Type the recipient's name, then choose the recognition category, the activity and, if you like, a message and a date.
  3. For a group, add more names under Other recipients, or import a CSV file and pick the column that holds the names.
  4. Choose Create document, check every page in the viewer, then download the PDF, or a PNG of each page.

Twenty-four participation certificates for a school art afternoon: one A4 landscape page per student, "For taking part in a creative activity", dated 14 November 2026.

What it does not do

  • The categories, activities and messages are fixed lists. Free text is limited to names.
  • There are no organisation, logo, seal, signature or reference-number fields, and files that contain them are refused.
  • A certificate made here is a token of recognition only. It is not a qualification or an official record.
  • Names longer than one line at the smallest name size are refused rather than cut off.
  • Up to 250 pages and 1000 entries in any list.
