Homeschool Planning and Record Book Builder
Enter your subjects with weekly target minutes, your own day schedule, the books read and the work you want to keep a record of. The builder lays it out as a book with a contents page, a reading log with totals and an evidence index whose page numbers link to each record.
It is a personal record for your family. Nothing is sent anywhere, and the book does not claim to meet any state's or country's registration, attendance or reporting rules.

How to use the Homeschool Planning and Record Book Builder
- Pick a layout: Compact (sections run on), Spacious (each section on a new right-hand page) or Section-led (each subject opens on its own page with its records).
- Enter the start date of the period and, if you like, a household label for the title page.
- Add subjects with a priority and a weekly target in minutes.
- Add schedule activities with a start time, length, track (such as Morning) and a picture, then the reading log entries and evidence records, choosing each record's subject.
- Choose Create document. Entries without a date are flagged before you download.
Example
An A4 book for February: four subjects with weekly targets, a morning and afternoon schedule, three books read (one flagged with no date) and five evidence records such as a bean plant growth chart, indexed by subject with page links.
What it does not do
- Not an official attendance, registration or reporting record, and not a certificate of anything. Check your own authority's requirements yourself.
- Dates are never filled in for you: an entry without a date is printed as "No date recorded".
- Totals are simple sums of what you enter. Nothing is worked out about hours required or progress.
- No logo or school branding. PDF and project file only.
- Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
