Photo Book Builder
Add your photos, put them in order, write captions and choose a layout. The builder lays the photos out on square, landscape or A4 pages and makes a print-ready PDF with an optional 3.2 mm bleed for edge-to-edge photos.
Each photo is turned the right way up from its camera orientation and saved again without its camera and location data before it is used. Photos stay on this device. A photo that would print soft at its size is flagged with its page.

How to use the Photo Book Builder
- Pick a layout: Caption-led grid (four a page), Image-led layout (one a page, never cropped) or Narrative spread (edge to edge with a larger caption).
- Enter the book title, choose the page size and the cover.
- Upload your photos. Add order rows to put photos first, or leave the upload order.
- Write captions, and add a crop focus (percent across and down) for any cropped photo whose subject is off centre.
- Create document, check any soft-photo warnings, then download.
Example
An 8 × 8 in grid book of 24 holiday photos: a title cover, six pages of four photos with captions, and page numbers.
What it does not do
- Photos are reduced to at most 1,600 pixels on the longest side when added, so very large pages may warn that a photo will print soft.
- Use photos you took or have permission to use. Zerdly does not check this.
- At most 240 photos and 150 pages. A caption too long for its space is refused, never shrunk out of sight.
- PDF and project file only. The PDF is not checked against any printer's requirements.
- Up to 150 pages and 500 entries in any list.
Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
