Portfolio and Case Study Builder

Write a short bio and contact details, then add each project: its title, your role, the brief, what you did and the outcome. Tick the photos that belong to each project. The builder makes a cover page and one case study per project, with an image credits page at the end.

Each photo keeps its caption on the same page. Photos in a grid are cropped to fit when the page is made; the photo you uploaded is kept unchanged in your project file. Photos stay on this device.

How to use the Portfolio and Case Study Builder

  1. Pick a layout: Caption-led grid, Image-led layout (a wide lead photo) or Narrative spread (the story first, photos between the parts).
  2. Enter your name, a short bio and how to contact you.
  3. Upload photos, then add a credit for each one: who made it, where it is from and its licence. The credit is the photo's caption.
  4. Add projects and tick the photos each one uses.
  5. Choose portrait (one column) or landscape (two columns), then Create document.

Example

A two-project design portfolio on A4: a cover with the bio and contact details, a library booking case study with the brief, the three changes made and the result, and a stock-sheet project.

What it does not do

  • No logo or company branding. A client or past employer named in Role is printed as ordinary text.
  • Use only photos you took or have permission to use, and only client work your client has agreed you can show. Zerdly does not check this.
  • A photo with no credit has no caption.
  • Text that does not fit is moved to the next page, never shrunk.
  • Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.

Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
