Press Kit Builder

Enter the facts about your organisation with the date each was true and where it comes from, your biography, the releases you have written, and photos with who took them. Each fact keeps the date you gave it, so a journalist can see how current it is.

The kit prints only what you enter. It adds no quotes and no press coverage, and it says the facts are supplied by you and not independently verified. It is made in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by Zerdly.

How to use the Press Kit Builder

  1. Pick a layout: a compact kit, a photo-led kit, or a modular pack with each part on its own pages.
  2. Enter the organisation name, the kit date and your biography. Add a logo only if you own it or may use it.
  3. Add facts with an as-of date and a source, and your releases with their dates.
  4. Upload photos, then add a credit for each one, choosing the photo it belongs to.
  5. Add the press contact, choose Create document, check the kit under View your document, then download the PDF and Word file.

Example

A river care group's kit: founding year, volunteer and tree counts with their dates and sources, two releases about a planting day and a new nursery shed, and a media contact.

What it does not do

  • It does not check any fact. Facts print as you enter them, with your date and source.
  • It writes no quotes and no press coverage. Use only quotes you have permission to use, inside your own releases.
  • The Word file has the text and tables but not the photos.
  • Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.

Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
