Vehicle Maintenance Log Builder

Add each service with its date, odometer reading and what was done, your running costs, photos of receipts and the services you are planning. The builder sets out the log, checks that readings only go up, and adds up the costs.

It is your own log. It is not a manufacturer service book, a logbook stamp, a roadworthiness certificate or a warranty record, and it says so on every page. It is made in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by Zerdly.

How to use the Vehicle Maintenance Log Builder

  1. Pick a layout: concise summary, service by service with receipts, or detailed log.
  2. Enter a name for the vehicle and choose whether the odometer reads in km or miles.
  3. Add service entries with the date, reading and work done. Upload receipt photos and choose the receipt for each entry.
  4. Add running costs with their currency, and the services you plan next.
  5. Choose Create document, check the log under View your document, then download the PDF.

Example

A family hatchback: three services from 45,210 km to 60,135 km, 2,236.40 AUD of recorded costs over two years, and the next service planned at 75,000 km.

What it does not do

  • A reading lower than the one before is printed as you entered it and flagged for you to check. It is never corrected, and distance is then not calculated.
  • Readings stay in the unit you chose. A converted column appears only if you ask for it, marked as converted, using 1 mile = 1.609344 km and rounded to a whole unit.
  • There is no stamp, endorsement or roadworthiness wording. Costs are added up per currency and never converted.
  • Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.

Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
