How it works
The Dress Size Calculator estimates a women's dress size from bust, waist and hip measurements and shows the AU, UK, US and EU equivalents.
Each size has a body-measurement range; the tool scores how well your bust, waist and hip fit each size and returns the best match plus adjacent sizes. If your three measurements point to different sizes, it tells you so rather than forcing one answer.
Worked example
Split-size body. If your bust suggests 12, waist suggests 10 and hips suggest 12, the calculator recommends 12 but notes the waist runs smaller — useful for tailoring.
Frequently asked questions
Bust, waist and hip — how do I measure them?
Bust: around the fullest part. Waist: around your natural waistline. Hip: around the fullest part of your hips/seat. Keep the tape level and not tight.
Why do dress sizes vary so much between labels?
Different markets and brands use different base measurements, plus vanity sizing and varied cuts. That is why we show a range and conversions, not a single guaranteed size.
How accurate are these size results?
They are a helpful starting point, not a guarantee. Brand sizing, garment cut, fabric stretch, body shape and measurement technique all change the best fit, so we show a recommended size plus adjacent sizes rather than one exact answer.
