How it works
The Jeans Size Calculator estimates your pants or jeans size from waist and hip measurements, showing waist sizing and AU/UK/US/EU or alpha equivalents.
It scores your waist and hip against each size's measurement range and returns the best fit plus adjacent sizes. Because jeans cut and stretch vary widely, it shows a range and a confidence level rather than one exact size.
Worked example
Men's 90 cm waist. A ~90 cm waist maps to about a 34–36 inch jeans waist depending on rise and cut, with EU 50–52 equivalents.
Frequently asked questions
Should I measure my body or my jeans?
Measure your natural waist and fullest hip for a body-based estimate. If you prefer a known-good pair of jeans, measure them flat and double the waist — but body measurements are more consistent here.
Why don't my jeans match the calculated size?
Denim stretch, rise (low/mid/high) and cut (skinny/straight/relaxed) all shift fit. Use the result as a starting point and check the adjacent size.
How accurate are these size results?
They are a helpful starting point, not a guarantee. Brand sizing, garment cut, fabric stretch, body shape and measurement technique all change the best fit, so we show a recommended size plus adjacent sizes rather than one exact answer.
