Web design for Byford small businesses

Turn a long list of capabilities into a few clear choices a customer can act on.

Looking for a clearer website for your Byford business? When a business can do a lot, its website often tries to say everything at once. Customers then have to work out which part applies to them. A better approach is a few clear choices, each with its own next step.

Based in the Peel region, Western Australia, Zerdly creates modern websites for small businesses across Australia. Projects are managed remotely.

Your scope and next steps are agreed in writing before design begins. There is no walk-in studio, and no meeting is needed.

Illustrative example

A landscaping provider needs construction, maintenance and consultation requests routed clearly.

This is an illustrative website need, not a completed client project. It is used throughout this page to make the advice concrete.

Three services, three clear choices

Group what you do into the decisions customers actually make. For each choice, say who it suits and what to send. Then the first message already contains what you need to reply.

Illustrative example

Construction

For new work: a garden build, paving or retaining.

Ask the customer for

  • Rough size of the area
  • Photos of the site as it is now
  • Any plans or inspiration images
  • Preferred timing

Maintenance

For regular or one-off upkeep of an existing garden.

Ask the customer for

  • Suburb
  • What needs doing and how often
  • Access notes, such as gates or pets
  • Preferred start date

Consultation

For customers who want advice before committing.

Ask the customer for

  • What they are trying to achieve
  • Photos of the area
  • Whether a site visit or a phone call suits them
  • Any budget range they are comfortable sharing

These lists are examples. Your real choices and questions come from your own business, and a final quote may still need a conversation or a site visit.

An illustrative site plan for a multi-service business

A Small Business layout with a page per service. An example only, not a completed project.

    Home

The three choices, each linking to its own page.

  2. 02

    Construction

Typical work, your process and what to send for a quote.

  3. 03

    Maintenance

What a visit covers, frequency options and access needs.

  4. 04

    Consultation

What a consultation includes and how it is arranged.

  5. 05

    Our work

Your own project photos, grouped by service.

  6. 06

    Contact

One enquiry email, with the checklist for each service.

What you would supply

  • Your service list, grouped the way customers ask for it
  • Photos of your own completed work
  • The details you need for each kind of quote
  • Your service area

Features shown are standard website content; nothing here implies a custom back end.

Byford and the Peel region

Byford is in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, one of the five local government areas of the Peel region, where Zerdly is based. Work is delivered remotely, through a written brief, a preview link and written feedback.

Relevant work from our portfolio

Real websites we have created. They are shown for the feature each one demonstrates, not as projects in this location.

  • Homepage of Grand Hotel Monto

    Grand Hotel Monto

A Queensland country pub's own website: the menu, table and room bookings, local news and a merch shop.

What it shows: Several distinct offers on one website (meals, rooms, news and merchandise), each with its own clear route.

Website packages

The same published prices apply wherever you are in Australia. Each is a one-off build fee.

How the remote process works

Everything runs in writing, so each decision is on record. Working times and milestones are agreed for each project.

  1. 01

    Send your brief

Complete the website brief online, download it as a PDF and email it. A short email question is fine too.

  2. 02

    Agree the written scope

We confirm pages, inclusions, price and a start date in writing. A 50% deposit books the build.

  3. 03

    Review a live preview

You get a private preview link and send each round of changes together, in writing. Two revision rounds are included.

  4. 04

    Approve and launch

Once you approve the preview, the balance is paid and the website goes live on your domain.

Questions from Byford businesses

Should different services have their own pages?

Give a service its own page when the extra detail helps customers decide. A short or simple service may only need a section on a shared page.

What should I prepare for each service?

For each one: a short description, who it suits, the information you need before you can reply, and two or three photos of your own work. That gives each choice a clear purpose and next step.

Which package suits three services?

Three services on their own pages, plus a home and contact page, usually fits the six-page Small Business package. Simpler offers can share one page on the Starter package.

The full terms are in our Web Design Service Terms.
