Event Budget Workbook Builder
Set up your supplier categories, enter what you planned to spend and what each supplier has actually charged, with how much you have paid so far. The builder totals each category, shows what is still to pay, and compares the budget with the actual costs.
Add a contingency as a percentage of all planned costs or of the categories you choose; the document says exactly which. A deposit is counted as part of the supplier's cost, never as an extra expense. Everything is in one currency. It is made in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by Zerdly.

How to use the Event Budget Workbook Builder
- Pick a layout: a compact category table, detailed by category, or a summary with the items after.
- Enter the event name, the currency and, if you like, a logo you own or may use.
- Add supplier categories, then planned costs in each.
- Add actual costs as the full amount each supplier charges, and how much of it is paid.
- Set the contingency percentage and choose what it applies to.
- Choose Create document, check the budget under View your document, then download the PDF and CSV.
Example
A community fair: venue, catering and marketing, with a 10% contingency on venue and catering only and a deposit paid on the oval hire.
What it does not do
- One currency per workbook. A line mentioning another currency is refused until you convert it.
- No tax is worked out. Enter amounts the way your suppliers quote them.
- It is a planning record, not an accounting or audit system.
- Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
