Player Development Review Builder
Rate the skills you have been working on, on a scale you choose, and add what you saw at training and in games, the goals you have agreed and when you will review them again. The builder sets it out as an informal review to share with the player and their family.
Every copy carries the fixed title Informal player development review and, on every page, the footer Coaching observations only. Not a medical or psychological assessment. These cannot be changed. It is made in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by Zerdly.

How to use the Player Development Review Builder
- Pick a layout: concise summary, photo-led record, or detailed report.
- Enter the player's name and the review date, and if you like the team and your name.
- Add skills. Give a rating and choose its scale (out of 3, 4, 5 or 10), or leave the rating empty to print Not rated.
- Add dated observations, goals with how you will know they are met, and a follow-up date. Upload photos and tick them against an observation if you need them.
- Choose Create document, check the review under View your document, then download the PDF.
Example
A mid-season review for an Under 14 player: first touch 4 out of 5, passing range 3.5 out of 5, two goals for the next block and a follow-up in December.
What it does not do
- It is a coach's informal notes. There are no fields for injuries, health, medical or psychological matters, and it is not a talent assessment, a selection decision or an accredited evaluation.
- Every rating prints as words against its scale, such as 3 out of 5. A rating without a scale, or above its scale, is not created.
- The title and footer cannot be changed. Check your club's rules on photos of players and on sharing written feedback, especially for junior players.
- Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
