Puzzle Book Compiler
Choose the puzzle types, the difficulty and how many of each. Zerdly's own puzzle generators make every puzzle on this device: sudoku with exactly one solution, word searches from Zerdly's themed word lists, and mazes with exactly one route from start to finish.
Every puzzle has an ID such as P007. The solutions section lists each ID with the page of its puzzle and the page of its solution, and each puzzle names the page its solution is on. The same seed and settings make the same book again.

How to use the Puzzle Book Compiler
- Pick a layout: Compact (two puzzles a page), Spacious (one large puzzle a page) or Section-led (each puzzle type opens with its own title page).
- Enter the book title, tick the puzzle types and choose the difficulty and how many of each type.
- Optionally type a seed (any word or number) to get a different set of puzzles; keep it to make the same book later.
- Choose whether to add the indexed solutions section, then Create document.
Example
A 12-page Letter book called Rainy Day Puzzles, two puzzles a page: four medium sudoku, four word searches and four mazes, with an index and solutions at the back.
What it does not do
- Puzzles are made by Zerdly's generators only; you cannot paste in puzzles from newspapers or other books.
- Up to 100 of each type and at most 250 pages.
- Sudoku difficulty follows the number of clues left, not a solving-technique grade.
- PDF and project file only.
- Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
Documents are made in your browser and are not uploaded or stored by Zerdly. Check the finished document before you use it.
