Recipe Book Builder
Add your recipes with their ingredients and method, group them into sections, and the builder lays them out as a book: a title page, a contents page with real page numbers, each recipe with its photo, servings, ingredients and method, and an index of recipes and ingredients at the back. Left and right pages have mirrored margins so nothing disappears into the spine.
Set "Servings" to scale every recipe: ingredient amounts are worked out exactly, so 1 1/2 cups for 4 becomes 2 1/4 cups for 6. The method is never changed, and oven temperatures and cooking times are printed exactly as you wrote them. Nothing about allergens or diets is added; only what you type is printed.

How to use the Recipe Book Builder
- Pick a layout: Compact (recipes run on), Spacious (each recipe on a right-hand page with a large photo) or Section-led (each section opens on its own right-hand page).
- Give the book a title and add recipes: a title, the servings it makes, ingredients (amount, unit, ingredient, and an optional group such as Glaze), the method and an optional credit.
- Add sections if you want them and set Order to the recipe number each one opens before.
- Add photos and choose one for each recipe, or leave recipes without a photo.
- Set Servings to scale every recipe, or leave it empty to print each at its own servings. Choose Create document and check the pages.
Example
A 6 × 9 in family cookbook of five recipes: a title page, a contents page grouped into Soups and Mains and Baking, red lentil dal with its amounts in fractions, and an index listing every recipe and every ingredient with its page.
What it does not do
- Your own recipes only. Do not copy recipes, photos or text from books or websites you have no rights to.
- Amounts scale; methods do not. Change any amount written inside the method yourself.
- No allergen, dietary or nutrition information is worked out or added.
- No unit conversion between cups and grams: that needs the density of each ingredient.
- Covers are made separately.
- Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
