Team Handbook Builder

Enter the team name, the season's key dates, the schedule, the people to contact, what to bring and the club's guidance in your own words. The handbook sorts the dates and schedule, and adds a contents page with page numbers.

Mark a contact private and it is left out of the public edition completely, on every page. The team copy includes private contacts and says so on every page. The team name is printed as plain text; there is no badge or logo upload. The handbook is information, not an agreement or waiver, and has no signature lines.

How to use the Team Handbook Builder

  1. Pick a layout: Compact (A5, sections run on), Spacious (A4, a page per section) or Section-led (6 × 9 in, each section on a right-hand page).
  2. Enter the team name and the key dates.
  3. Add schedule items with a date, times, a title and a place. Leave the date empty for one still to be confirmed.
  4. Add contacts. Tick Private for anyone whose details should only go in the team copy, such as a child's or a parent's own number.
  5. Add equipment and write the club's guidance.
  6. Choose the Public edition or the Team copy, then Create document.

Example

A 10-page A5 handbook for Riverside Kestrels U12: four key dates, a schedule of training and Round 1, two public contacts (the coach and team manager), three equipment items and the club's guidance. A third contact, marked private, appears only in the team copy.

What it does not do

  • Private contacts are only left out when they are marked private. Details that look like a child's or junior player's are flagged, but you decide.
  • No signature block, consent form, code-of-conduct agreement or waiver is made. Guidance that reads like one is flagged and printed as plain text.
  • No badges, crests or logos: the team name is plain text in the handbook's own type.
  • Text that does not fit moves to the next page, never shrunk. PDF and project file only.
  • Up to 250 pages and 500 entries in any list.
