How to use this calculator
- Enter the plan number and title.
- Add a row per revision: rev letter/number, date, author, checker and a short change note.
- Copy the aligned register or download it as a .txt.
How it works
A revision register is the issue history of a drawing — who changed what, when, and who checked it. Each row is one issue; the latest revision sits at the bottom.
It runs entirely in your browser. This is a formatting aid for study and practice, not a controlled document-management system.
Worked example
Two issues of a surface plan. Rev A — first issue, and Rev B — updated stockpile surfaces, each with date, author and checker, aligned into a clean table.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a controlled document register?
No. It builds a plain-text register for your own use. A controlled system (with sign-off and storage) is managed by your organisation's procedures.
Is this official course material?
No. It is free study support mapped to surveying course levels — not official North Metropolitan TAFE content or advice. Always follow your lecturer and the official assessment brief, and check your own working.
