Wedding Planner
Plan your whole wedding privately in your browser — a timeline checklist, a budget tracker and a guest list with RSVPs and headcount, all auto-saved on your device with nothing uploaded.

How to use this calculator
- Enter the couple's names, the wedding date and your total budget with a currency — the dashboard countdown, 'next up' tasks and totals update as you go.
- Work through the Checklist tab (grouped by how far out the task is, with a suggested finish-by date), track spending on the Budget tab, keep vendor contacts, costs and deposits on the Vendors tab, and add people on the Guests tab with each RSVP set to yes, no or pending.
- Your plan saves automatically in this browser. Use Export to download a backup file (to move to another device or keep safe), Import to load one back, or Print / PDF for a clean printable summary of the whole plan.
How it works
The planner is a single plan object kept in your browser's local storage, so it stays on your device — nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. Because of that, clearing your browser data or using a different device won't carry the plan over unless you export a backup file first.
The dashboard rolls everything up: days until the date, the share of the checklist completed, the budget spent against your total, and the guest headcount (people who RSVP'd yes, plus their plus-ones).
The budget tab totals your estimated and actual costs and the deposits paid, shows what's still to pay and whether you're over or under your total, and draws a breakdown of where the money goes. The guest tab tallies attending, declined and pending, the total heads and the meal counts.
Worked example
How the headcount works. If 80 guests RSVP yes and 12 of them bring a plus-one, the attending count is 80 but the catering headcount is 92. Decline and pending guests are counted separately so you always know how many replies you're still waiting on.
Common mistakes
- Assuming the plan syncs across devices — it doesn't; it lives in one browser. Export a backup and import it on the other device.
- Forgetting that clearing browsing data / cookies can wipe local storage. Keep an exported file as your safety net.
- Counting plus-ones as separate guests — add them as a plus-one number on the main guest's row so the headcount is right.
Frequently asked questions
Is my wedding data private?
Yes — the entire plan is stored only in your browser (local storage). Nothing is sent to a server, there's no account, and no one else can see it. The trade-off is that it lives on this device, so export a backup file if you want to move it or keep it safe.
Can I use it on my phone and my laptop?
Yes, but the plan doesn't automatically sync between them. Use Export on one device to download the backup file, then Import it on the other to load the same plan.
What does it track?
A timeline checklist (with a ready-made template you can edit), a budget with estimated vs actual costs, deposits and a breakdown, and a guest list with RSVPs, meals, plus-ones and tables — plus a dashboard countdown and totals.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every Zerdly tool is free and runs in your browser with no sign-up.
