How to use this calculator

How it works
The cleaner parses your text locally, normalises every cell, removes blank and duplicate rows, and re-emits tidy comma-separated values ready for import.
‘Keep first of each point number’ removes rows whose first column repeats — handy when the same point was exported twice. Quoting is added only where a cell contains a comma or quote.
Worked example
Messy export. Pasting rows with extra spaces, a blank line and one repeated row returns a clean two-line CSV: the blank and the duplicate are dropped and every value is trimmed.

Is my data uploaded?
No. All parsing happens in your browser — the file never leaves your device, and nothing is stored on a server.
Will it reorder or change my numbers?
No. It only trims whitespace and removes blank/duplicate rows; the values and their order are preserved. Check the row counts to confirm what was removed.
Is this official course material?
No. It is free study support mapped to surveying course levels — not official North Metropolitan TAFE content or advice. Always follow your lecturer and the official assessment brief, and check your own working.
